Review: Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

11 11 2007

Until this title, I had never played a Zelda game. So this review is devoid of any comparisons to Zelda cannon - it is a simply an answer to the question; is this game any good?

This game is very good. In fact it might be the best handheld game that I have ever played. Read the rest of this entry »

Review: Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction

11 11 2007

I had a friend once that kept on telling me about this game called Ratchet and Clank. He said I should play it. This was probably five years ago. Being in my early thirties, I had little desire to play any game with such a childish name where the main characters looked like muppets. I only had time for Counterstrike.

I have to admit to wanting to try one of these units for a while. The concept seems to be a logical next step for computers. This article has a primary purpose, to tell you about the M200 and give you some perspective regarding how it rates and also a secondary purpose to tell you a little bit about the Tablet PC platform. Review: Toshiba Portege R100

27 06 2004

Toshiba’s Portege R100 ultra slim notebook makes a powerful first impression. I have owned a lot of portables ranging from sexy Apples to business workhorses and even a VAIO ultra slim. None can match the R100 for sexiness. I think that the M2, R100, M200 are among the best-engineered notebooks you find these days. The R100 immediately struck me as being much better engineered than the laptops that preceded it in my collection. Read the rest of this entry »
