My $0.02:
- The LED screen is a treat. I am certain it has a 1366 x 768 ( WXGA ) resolution. For games that is great because a single 260m will struggle to run modern games at 1920*1080 at a fast enough clip. At 768p you can maximize detail settings in most games and enjoy average frame rates in the 60 fps ballpark. For reference it takes two 280m GPUs in SLI to run new games at 60+ fps (with details maxed out) at 1920*1200.
- I love the chiclet keyboard on the G51.
- These normally ship without restore media – use the included software to burn factory restore disks.
- There is an empty drive bay where you can install another 7200 rpm 320 drive for RAID 0 ($70).
- Cooling is great, but don’t wreck your notebook by trying crazy over clocking.
- This has a 90 day warranty.
