One of the coolest things about Apple’s OS X is the active independent developer community. A few years ago someone got the idea of generating some hype for the community by staging virtual treasure hunts with cool apps as prizes. MacHeist was the early leader and has continued to puzzle and reward Mac users who choose to participate.
You can choose to complete the puzzles, or wait for folks to share the solution with you on the forums. This year’s first puzzle was relatively easy, but expect some mind benders before this is all over.
