Alienware m15x Review at NBR
Over at NBR there is a really good user review of the new Alienware 15″ Gaming notebook.
I can’t say that I have ever seen the value in these boutique notebooks… until now. Any company that can squeeze so much performance into such small package has my respect. It would appear that this is the first 15″ chassis with an 8800m GTX card in it. Like all Dell products, you can tinker with the spec to bring the cost down. I was able to configure a beast for a little over $2500.
Neon lighting abounds but Alienware seem to have dialed down the effect a bit, at least enough to make it look less a toy.
You might want to have a look at the Gateway 6831FX review if you like the Alienware but are weary of spending $2500 or more on a notebook.
